Founded in 2016 by Amy Murray Hyde, YSA was created to fill a major gap in education and support around health and financial planning—especially for people approaching or navigating retirement.

Today, many employees continue working well past Medicare eligibility age. Unfortunately, most HR departments aren’t certified or equipped to guide them through Medicare and retiree benefits, and many health brokers don’t offer these services at all. That’s where YSA comes in.

With over 20 years of experience managing group health plans, Amy saw firsthand how employers and HR teams struggled to support their aging workforce. She knew there had to be a better way.

YSA was created to serve as the Medicare and Retiree Benefits Department so many employers, individuals, and brokers need — offering clear guidance and trusted advice to help people understand their options and make confident, informed decisions.
